Who: Anyone living at the Flourite House, visiting, or who wants a visit from Vince?
Status: OPEN
Where: Flourite House, Amesato (and around town)
When: Week 33, Day 3 --> Week 33, Day 7
Rating: PG-13 (will edit if this changes)
Summary: Apparently, the Pandora Hearts cast never runs out of kitties. After murdering Alice-kitty as revenge for his brother's death, Vincent finds himself kittenified as well. He'll be out running around town some, but he's of course still going to bed down at the Flourite house that has been his home for some time.
Warning: Vincent Nightray.

For convenience of anyone wanting to interact with Vincent-kitty, you may tag in here on any of the threads for various days! If you have a character who wouldn't actually be in the Flourite house, you may write where in Amesato your character is and Vincent-kitty will come to you! (Especially if your character is female and will let a cute kitten climb down her shirt.)

For those curious - unlike many of the kittens seen around Kannagara, Vincent does not have a distinguishing feature (like eye color) making it clear who he truly is. If your character knows him well or is aware of the situation, feel free to have them figure it out; however, this is done to protect those who aren't supposed to know about Alice's murder, so please refrain from posting to the network about it or otherwise publicly declaring that Vincent is a kitty!

It's a slow morning for Rin. She doesn't have to be at work until late morning, so the sun is well up, its light poking at her eyelids, when she slowly starts to ascend from the depths of sleep. The soft sheets she's suddenly feeling around her may well be a dream yet, but the actuality of them starts crystallizing in her mind. She becomes lucid enough to remember the kitten that slipped into bed with her yesterday, and she very absently wonders where the kitty went, certain that it is gone.

She rolls over lazily and hits something solid and warm. For the moment, she does not yet question what that might be, and instead just snuggles up against it. In her twilight state, she imagines it is a gigantic pillow. And that is always nice.

He'd gone to see Rin on a whim, really. After all, he hadn't spent all that much time with her lately, and... he'd honestly been curious about what her life that he didn't see was like.

Now, he had a better idea. In fact, he'd even managed to get into her bed, though not quite in any way he would have imagined. She looked surprisingly attractive, asleep, and he'd watched for quite some time after she'd fallen asleep.

But it's morning now, and his awakening... is not as expected. In fact, when he cracks an eye open, he realizes immediately that his perspective has changed. He's no longer a tiny lump of fur curled up on her pillow.

No, that's a human arm that he's got resting on her. He bites his lip, shifts just a little bit to get used to the rest of his body being back, and doesn't even really stop to think about the fact that he's naked.

Rin spends a few more minutes snuggled into his loose embrace, not yet seeing anything wrong with this picture. She's caught in a dark haze as random pictures flicker by her mental eye; flowers, a corner of her Edo garden, a sickle, a caterpillar becoming a hound becoming a dragon becoming a butterfly.

It's only when she becomes aware of the light outside her eyelids that she comes to truly recognize that there is a weight much like a human arm on her, and why is that? How'd it get there? Should it be there? It occurs to her that she could open her eyes, so she pries them open, and -- oh. Familiar face. Blonde. Two eye colors.

Vincent Nightray.

As soon as that point finally clicks, she shoots into an upward position, getting slightly tangled in the sheets and coming up against the wall behind her side of the bed. She's still dizzy and disoriented and a little sleep-drowsy, so it's a bit on autopilot that she stares at him with dilated eyes and loudly yells, "HUH?"

"Thank you for taking care of me last night, Miss Rin," he says quietly, not seeming to even acknowledge her little freakout.

In fact, he seems quite comfortable in her bed, stretching lazily and smiling at her.

"I'm afraid I'm probably a little less cuddly this morning, but you're certainly welcome to try..."

And he holds his arm up to her, as if inviting her to be pulled back into the circle of his arms for more snuggling.

"Last night -- but -- what --" Indeed, she is reduced to sputtering as she covers the lower half of her face with her hands, trying to hide her blush, or trying to not blush at all, and peering at him over her fingers in that awkward way where she wants to both look at him warily and not look at him at all.

Is this one of those infamous scenarios where two people get drunk, do unspeakable things together, and wake up not remembering? But surely, she should be remembering even so much as touching alcohol... not to mention that she isn't feeling any aftereffects beyond the usual drowsiness of the just awakened.

She heaves a sigh and runs one hair into her hair while putting the other on her hip. "So how did you even --"

Things come together in her head, leading her to give him a very pointed glare down her nose. "You were the cat."
